Daisy Mae the bulldog, the pug's new cousin, was one of our weekend guests.She is quite a chunk of a lady!
Kritter played, but Moe was less than a hospitable host. I need to get that lady who talks to animals to come have a chat with him. My threats of washing out his mouth with soap (he cusses in Chinese pug speak, I know it) does nothing.
How do I socialize a pug who is terrified of human and canine strangers?

I've decided that I need to get a dog to protect our house. It's scary being home alone when he doesn't get back from work until midnight during basketball season. I'm thinking husky. What do you think?
I love huskies - they have gorgeous eyes. I don't know much about them except that they need to be in a climate more like yours, rather than here.
Of course German shepards are the ultimate guard dog, and boxers are good too. Rotties are beautiful, but they get a bad reputation.
