It won't work, but it will make me feel better!
Yesterday I had to get all wired up with a heart monitor. I have a minor heart condition that really isn't a big deal, but the doc wanted to be sure. So, for 24 hours I had five wires taped all over me. The doc said not to go to the airport because an old lady once got arrested there while she was wearing it!
Would anyone like to volunteer their maid services? I can't stand for very long at all, and my house is getting VERY nasty. It's driving me insane. Alan is trying to help, but he's at the hospital most of the time. This rotation is internal medicine, and she has some long days. Plus, Peekaboo has decided to help me by not making me get up to let her outside - she takes care of business in the hall out of sight. I've got all her favorite spots blocked off now, so maybe she'll take the hint. I do have some cute pictures of the pups keeping me company though. I don't look cute, but they do.Today I am wire-free and feeling pretty good. I'm ready to get to the fun part of pregnancy when you pick out clothes and toys! For now, it's all about quality time on the couch with the dogs and my big, big bottle of Gatorade!

Oh Kara, how terrible! It sounds like just about everything that could happen did! I hope you start feeling better when you hit that magic 2nd trimester. I know for me, the 14 week mark was were I felt great all of a sudden. I just checked your site yesterday to see if you had updated so I'm glad to hear that you are hanging in there and seem to be in pretty good spirits. At least you have your four-legged friends to keep you company.
Sorry to hear things are pretty hard for you at the moment. But it'll all be worth it when the time comes! I'd love to see the pictures of all you puggies. =)

Thanks for the update! Sorry it's not the most fun update ever, but soon you'll be making all of us jealous with your shopping excursions!
:)
Oh My Gosh ! I didn't know you were having such a tough pregnancy! Poor you! I hope this all passed and the nest trimester will come with a better turn out. Rest up and don't do too much!
Mawahh xoxoxo thinking of you.
I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles! Having babies shouldn't be so difficult. If we lived near you, I know Woman would come clean your house, but for now, I think you should call the Merry Maids!
I would totally offer my maid services if I lived within driving distance. My house was a total disaster for my first trimester, so don't feel bad about not cleaning. You're busy growing a child ... that's enough work for ten men! You're doing great. Just take it one day at a time.
What are you doing this weekend? Need some help?
Oh my! We are so sorry to hear about all the pregnancy troubles. We are thinking about you and hope you get feeling better soon!
Wow! I hope you're feeling better...my goodness! Hopefully the little flatnoses are taking good care of you...the best they can, at least.
Woof!
Oh Kara, I am sorry to hear that things have been so rough for you. Hope it gets better soon!
I am so sorry all is not going well, but hopefully you will be able to enjoy your pregnancy. Soon you'll be so busy you won't even remember any of this.

I just stumbled on your site thanks to Google ;) Just wanted to drop you a note and say hello.
Out of curiosity... what minor heart condition do you have? I have SVT and while it hasn't been a problem lately (and isn't supposed to be a problem during pregnancy), I can't deny that I get scared when I think I about getting pregnant in the next few years....
good luck... and congratulations. Fabulous Pups BTW!

I was happy to read that after all you've been through you are starting to feel a little better. The greatest reward of course will be in April.
Oh no! You've had a rough time of it! I am very glad to hear the baby is ok though. I was worried that you hadnt posted in so long and thought maybe you were having a rough 1st trimester. Hopefully it will get better soon!
Wow...You really are having a hard time!! We hope that you start feeling better real soon so you can start enjoying this preg. Hang in there!!

Poor sweetie! You really took the morning sickness seriously didn't you? Thankfully the baby is fine. It will be worth all the yucky stuff once you get to hold your precious child.
