I dropped Rascal off about 45 minutes ago for his neuter surgery. He gave kisses to the vet tech who took him back - he's sweet to everyone!
The vet is also going to check the pins in his leg and remove them, if necessary.
I've already contacted the Austin vet another Frenchie owner recommended. That vet owns Frenchies as well, so I'm excited to meet him. Our vets here (there's two we see at our clinic) both want Frenchies and give them special attention. They said they would want a puppy if we bred Rascal and Peekaboo, but I told them no way - if I ever bred one of my dogs I wouldn't be able to part with any of the pups!
UPDATE: The vet called and Rascal is awake. One of the three pins in his leg was taken out, but the other two were totally grown into the bone and can stay put. We're picking him up at 5, when we have an appointment for Peekaboo to get her rabies shot. My babies are growing up!

Oh poor little baby Rascal!!! Give him lots of kisses from me and my humans!
At least you didn't make alan drop him off. I imagine that would be tough for him.
Good luck packing! one more week!!
good luck!!
Stewie was just dropped off for his neuter today too. Best wishes to your little guy! :)
Yea...glad he came through okay and they were able to remove a pin.
Oh..Give rascle kisses from us! Happy Healing Big Fella!
I hope Rascal did well yesterday. Give him pug kisses from us.
I'm so glad Rascal is ok. I think breeding is too much work, and there's so many puppies out there without homes. I thought about breeding Suki at first, then quickly decided against it.
I hope Rascal's recovery is quick and painless!
