I haven't posted in awhile. Why? Well, let's see what happened with me in the last week:
1. I continued work on the 56-page special section the other ad feature writer and I are producing. That means nothing to those of you who don't work at a newspaper, but trust me, it's crazy, and involves lots of overtime.
3. Went to a Frenchie meetup, a pug meetup and a "Pugnic" fund-raiser for the new Houston pug rescue group.
4. Went to the job interview, got the job, and agreed to start the new job March 26. I'd told my current boss about my plans and promised to stay at least until the craziness is over - March 23.
5. Noticed that Rascal and Peekaboo both had the runs. Vet says it's a virus. Translation - it has to run its course, and we've been cleaning up runny poo ALL OVER THE PLACE
6. Called the Realtor my new co-worker recommended and gave her our preferences. She gave us 50 current choices, and we narrowed the list to 7 houses, which we are going to see this weekend.
7. Gotten horribly behind with laundry because, as I mentioned, the poo is everywhere. We've officially run out of anything to use as a comforter on the bed - including the sleeping bags we resorted to
8. Officially lost control of the dirty dishes.
So, it might be a few days before you hear from me again!

Yikes, sounds like it is crazy at your house. Sorry about the poo but CONGRATS on the new job!
Ewwww, runny pet poo is the worst. Good luck with everything, I know how overwhelming moving and new jobs can be (if you remember I was in the middle of all that during your wedding).
As for the laundry and dishes ... those can wait. That's what Febreeze and paper plates are for.
Yikes, sounds rough over there. Sorry! SO, your jobs are going to overlap? How will that work? Can you do one at home?
no - they don't overlap - I typed may instead of march!
Hey, I made a blog for my pugs with Google Page Creator, and my pugs are reviewing pug blogs, like Django. Can we review your pug blog sometime?
Congrats on the new job! (As opposed to the old job of running around cleaning up after pups. ;-P
Good luck with the move. I think you'll like Austin. Pay attention to the highways and traffic around those possible houses. Can be "muy importante" for the morning commute. Hope you get to take a breather soon.
We hope your herd is feeling better and the poo has returned to solid state.
Good luck with the house hunting this weekend!

We hope the pups are feeling better. Congrats on the new job. Moving can be such a challenge says the girl who has moved from Virginia, to Seattle (plus one in town moves), to Baltimore(plus two in town moves), to Houston (plus one move to the burbs) in the last 8 years. One tip, if you can swing it, go for an unpacking service when you get to your new home...even if it is just for your kitchen goodies. They take everything out of the boxes forcing you to get your kitchen stuff put away, and they take all that darn box and paper trash with them!
Wow, what a week you had! :( I hope the little pups are better now. Congrats on the new job and good luck with everything! Kisses!
