Just wanted to let everyone know what's up with the Moe. The second tumor (removed in the second surgery) came back as another mast cell tumor with clean margins. And, like the first one, it was in a lymph node in his groin area. Of course, that is still extremely weird - just like Moe!
This second surgery was a very aggressive removal; tissue was taken out one inch around the tumor on all sides. The scar is about four inches long, but it's healing well.
He's still on 10 mg of prednisone, one pepcid AC and two benadryls a day. We're also trying a new chemo called Leukeran, a human drug for lymph cancers. We haven't noticed any side effects with this or any others we've tried, so we are very thankful for that.
