I finally saw our neighborhood possum! I'd never seen one before and Alan's seen him a million times, so it was a big deal for me.
I threw a trash bag over the fence for Alan to take out, but he didn't, so Mr. Possum came around for a snack. He was just like Alan said he was - cat size, rat-looking, kinda freaky.
He looked just like those swamp-rat things from The Princess Bride. So, that's my fun experience of the day!

You have possums outside your house?! All I have are bums who rip open my trash to find cans! Luuuucky!

I can't believe you've never seen a possum before!!! I saw a stuff dog toy possum today at Target. They are weird looking.
