Kritter misses Moe too

Many of you have asked about how Kritter is dealing with Moe's passing. I think he's feeling about like Alan and I.

The bear Lori & Brandon sent has been cuddling with him.
We took Kritter with us to the vet that night, but I'm not certain he knows what happened. He's been walking around the house smelling everything, and every time I come home he gives me a good sniffdown and looks at me like, "Hello? Aren't you forgetting someone?"
But nobody is forgetting the Moe.

This is the last picture I took of Moe. It was his job to be with me everywhere. Usually Kritter kept an eye on me but didn't stay on my heels. Gizmo even had a bed in the bathroom, but Kritter occasionally stole it, like here.

Kritter has wanted to play fetch every night this week, but then loses interest quickly.

Tomorrow morning we are going to take Kritter to a Pet Festival in Old Town Spring. He's so social - he'll probably love it. Alan's brother called today and asked if he could come visit because he has a long weekend, so we'll also have Daisy the bulldog here. She and Moe didn't get along - she's vocal and Moe mistook her noises for a threat and tried to defend his territory. She's twice his size and four times his weight, so that didn't turn out well. No injuries, just enemies.
