NEPHEW!!!
Remember Samson, one of Linda's "young adults" that we really liked? Well, after we left Linda's with Rascal, I called Alan's brother, Kyle, and told him he had to get Samson to be a playmate to Daisy. She, being a very physical, throw-her-weight-around kind of girl, needed a friend who was equally boisterous, and Samson seemed to fit the bill. When Alan and I went to Linda's to pick a pup, we met Jacques and Samson first. They were both friendly and playful, but Samson is a bit larger and more all over you looking to play.
His flop ear kept him out of the show ring, but we think it's endearing. He and Daisy seemed to get along, so Kyle took him home to Austin.
I'm excited because we'll (probably) move to Austin this summer for Alan's third and fourth years of school and I'll get to see Samson all the time. Might even steal him from Kyle!
And ... in other puggy news, Alan and I will probably babysit Miss Sophie while her owners take a Christmas trip to Morocco.
Sophie's daddy owns a shop called Galveston Gallery, and he happened to be my first client when I moved over to the "Dark Side" of the newspaper: advertising. I walked in, saw Sophie, and knew I'd made the right choice in taking the new job! I always take a picture of Sophie to include in my story about the store, and she usually has a new outfit to model.I told her daddy he might have a hard time getting her back after a week with me!

Oh yay for new additions to the family. I'm happy you both have new little babies. Samson is quite the stocky little boy, i'm sure him and daisy will enjoy wrestling around. Hope rascal is still settling in well :)
Yeah! what a cute nephew you have. all this Frenchy talk and posting is making me want a Frenchy! I saw one at the pet store the other day..it made me so sad seeing the glass..all he wanted is to play.
Maybe I will go get Jacques seeing how he has my Last name for his first name....Jacques Jacques? funny!
