I'm bringing Shirley back

I won't make you readers vote this year, because my Frenchie pumpkin is clearly way better than Alan's puking pumpkin.

We didn't have any plans for Halloween night other than passing out candy, so I hadn't planned on getting decked out in costume. But Emily informed me I had better wear the lovely costume she slaved over for Sing Song 2004 - or else! This won't make a lot of sense to people who didn't attend Abilene Christian University or some other Church of Christ-affiliated school. It's hard to explain, but it's basically a choral competition with costumes and choreography performed on risers. Get it? This is a clip of a 2006 Sing Song act (go Kai-O's!)

Aren't they cute?

Anyway, our senior year we (Alpha kai Omega girls) were Shirley Temple, and Emily was costume/prop queen extraordinaire. Think Martha Stewart, in college, on speed. That was Emily. So to honor her, I brought Shirley back for Halloween.

The boys were tired after greeting lots of trick-or-treaters.

What a great costume! LOL.......I love your pumpkin much better.

Was there a lot of barking going on at your place when the trick or treaters rang your bell?

It was from the lack of sleep, not speed...I'm glad that you recyled it. Your Wig still looks very nice!

I can't believe you didn't dress the boys up!
